We’ve partnered with Patagonia in the development of NetPlus®, our fully traceable, 100% recycled fishing net material now used for brim stiffeners in their hats. This is just the first step in NetPlus’ integration into Patagonia’s supply chain, with a combined mission to re-use existing waste and reduce the need for new plastics. 

Below the surface of every hat brim hides more than 23 grams of plastic -- so we spent the last five years on an adventure with Patagonia’s supply chain to reimagine the way hats are made. Repurposing over 71,000 pounds of discarded nets in the first year alone, this project is expanding our impacts to educate and empower fishing communities. Creating a net positive solution to fishing net waste -- one hat brim at a time!
