Customer Service and Marketing Coordinator
Bureo’s mission is to scale a radically transparent model to eliminate fishing net pollution; using disruptive innovation to inspire change and create tangible positive impacts. Developing NetPlus® material, a third party verified 100% post-consumer recycled plastic constructed from waste fishing nets, Bureo is implementing programs to prevent harmful ocean pollution while phasing out the ongoing consumption of virgin plastics. Educating fisheries, and providing incentivized collection, Bureo works with industry leading recyclers and brands to transform discarded fishing nets into valuable products that employ responsible supply chains.
Bureo is seeking to fill an entry level position for the coordination of customer service and marketing activities. This role required strong communication skills and an ability to work in a dynamic team environment. The applicant should be versed in web applications (Email, Dropbox, Calendar, Google Workspace, MS Office). This position is based in Ventura County (Oxnard) and requires in-person participation at Bureo’s offices. This is a full-time position (30-40 hrs per week) with no benefits.
Working alongside Bureo’s team, the Coordinator will contribute to Bureo’s mission through effective communication and social presence, interacting directly with customers, media and the general public.
- Respond to all inbound customer inquiries
- Filter all inbound emails and pass on to appropriate team members
Document and compile report on inbound email interest
Refer to and build on Bureo FAQ doc
Respond to Instagram and Facebook inquiries and comments in a timely manner
Respond to all sales and product inquiries
